Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support pharmacy operations at a CVS store. You will oversee daily dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and team performance while ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include supervising shifts in the pharmacist-on-duty role, coaching staff, managing workflow, and collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager to maintain excellent patient experiences and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and oversee pharmacy during shifts.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment and immunization services.
• Coach pharmacy team to maintain patient safety and care quality.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Assist with scheduling and pharmacy operations as needed.
