CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations in our store and support the Pharmacy Manager in day-to-day duties. You will oversee dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and patient care while ensuring compliance with state regulations and safety standards.

You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain accurate records, provide exceptional customer service, and manage workflow to support efficient operation and patient outcomes in a bustling retail setting.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts.
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and follow safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Support patient experiences by providing compassionate care and resolving insurance or medication issues.
• Deliver immunizations and coach staff to immunize when permissible.
