Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team, ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily operations, and uphold regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include managing workflow, coaching staff, ensuring cold chain integrity, and solving insurance or medication-related issues while maintaining a patient-centered approach within CVS Health stores.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as the pharmacist-on-duty when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Supervise and coach pharmacy staff to maintain quality and patient safety.
• Support immunization administration and patient care services as permissible.
• Maintain inventory control, including cold chain products, and safe workflow procedures.
