Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for our Retail locations. You will contribute to delivering safe, high-quality pharmacy services, counsel patients, immunize where permissible, and support the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations.

You will lead pharmacy team activities, ensure compliance with regulations, manage inventory, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy to the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts and coaching the team.
• Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and compliance with pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Managing inventory with focus on protecting cold chain products and resolving insurance or medication issues.
