Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead a pharmacy team within a CVS Retail location. You will ensure safe dispensing, provide patient counseling, immunizations, and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

You will support the Pharmacy Manager, supervise bench shifts, uphold workflow procedures, maintain cold chain integrity, and manage inventory while complying with state laws and CVS policies. A valid pharmacist license is required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and support the pharmacy team.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues clearly, using verbal and written forms.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute days supply, tablet counts, and inventory needs.
• Issue Resolution: manage challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose best actions.
• Physical Demands: be mobile and remain upright for extended periods and handle lifting as required.
