Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and counsel patients on proper use and immunizations.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager and oversee pharmacy operations during shifts as acting pharmacist-on-duty.
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Provide compassionate patient care and help resolve insurance and medication issues.
• Administer immunizations and support pharmacy technicians in learning immunization procedures.
• Maintain inventory controls and protect cold chain products.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
• Support scheduling and maintain a safe, inclusive team environment.
• Keep clinical and technical knowledge up to date with required trainings.
• Contribute to access to care and deliver clinical services where permissible.
• Adhere to federal and state laws and maintain patient privacy and security.
