Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations in a CVS Health store, ensuring safe dispensing, thorough patient counseling, and support for vaccination services in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.

You will oversee bench shifts, coach team members, maintain inventory, and help ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering quality care to the community.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Oversee prescription fulfillment and support safe dispensing and counseling.
• Proactively manage pharmacy operations during shifts as needed.
• Coach and support pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain workflow and patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and CVS Health policies at all times.
• Assist with immunizations and patient care to improve health outcomes.
