Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to deliver patient-centered care within a retail setting. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and uphold regulatory standards while leading a team of technicians and collaborating with store leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Licensed and registered in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team, and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable and grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians.
• Motivate team members to perform at a high level.
• Know Meijer Policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as agent of change.
• Organize workload and prioritize tasks.
• Listen to patients and address needs.
• In pharmacist in charge absence, oversee operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services including immunizations.
• Other duties as assigned.
