Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our retail team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and maintain strong relationships with customers and staff.

In this role, you will mentor technicians, uphold safety standards, and help expand clinical services such as immunizations. You will operate in a patient-focused environment, ensuring adherence to policies and laws while delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must be licensed in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science or PharmD required.
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and team members.
• Hold technicians accountable and promote growth in the pharmacy.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate staff to perform at a high level.

• Listen to patients and address needs and concerns.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the PIC.
