Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in a patient-centered environment. You will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

The role emphasizes supervision of technicians, education, and expanding clinical services such as immunizations. A Doctorate or PharmD and active state licensure are required, with strong emphasis on patient engagement and community care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies, and procedures, and understanding of state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Oversee and mentor pharmacy technicians to grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor technicians to be effective team members.
• Promote patient engagement and high-touch care.
• Oversee operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services, including immunizations where allowed.
