Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to join our team in a patient‑centered environment. You will fill prescriptions accurately, foster collaboration with patients and staff, and ensure operations run smoothly even when the pharmacist in charge is away.

You will lead clinical services such as immunizations, mentor technicians, and uphold Meijer policies while delivering high‑quality care to the communities we serve. This role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must be licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist preferred (Indiana exception noted).
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy is required.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, teammates, and leadership.
• Hold technicians accountable and support growth of the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at a high level.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and be an agent of change.
• Organize workload and prioritize patient care.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
