Job summary

Meijer is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Michigan pharmacy team. You will fill prescriptions, educate patients, and mentor technicians while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The role emphasizes patient care, operational leadership, and immunization services within a community pharmacy setting. Ideal candidates bring a PharmD/BS, active state licensure, and immunization certification, with strong knowledge of pharmacy systems and a commitment to Meijer's

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with BS or PharmD and state license.
• Retail/pharmacy practice experience required.
• Immunization certification is required where applicable.
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies/procedures; regulatory understanding.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable and grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their best.
• Be competent with Meijer policies, procedures and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as an agent of change.
• Organize workload and prioritize duties efficiently.
• Listen to patient needs and provide excellent customer service.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Provide and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
