Job summary

Aurora is hiring a Staff People Business Partner to drive organizational health and business results across key functions. You will bridge executive vision with execution, lead strategic HR programs, and advise leaders on complex people decisions in a rapidly scaling startup.

You will partner across the People team to design scalable solutions, improve cross-functional collaboration, and help build robust systems while navigating ambiguity and change.

Qualifications

• Recognized authority in HR business partnering.
• Track record of leading high-stakes initiatives in fast-paced or tech-heavy environments.
• Strong ability to align senior leaders and manage upward/downward information.
• Experience translating metrics into action plans and pivoting when needed.
• Proven change leadership and ability to maintain momentum in transitions.

Responsibilities

• Execute Strategic Programs: design and deliver major projects across units.
• Guide Functional Leadership as a trusted expert to leaders.
• Drive Alignment & Communication across levels and teams.
• Optimize Organizational Systems to improve cross-functional collaboration.
• Build Capability using data-driven talent planning and systems.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, ER, and other teams for seamless execution.
• Navigate Build-Phase environments by establishing scalable processes.
• Make decisions under ambiguity and create clarity from chaos.
• Demonstrate Agile resilience in a fast-moving startup setting.
