Job summary

Collectors Holdings, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a Staff NPI Engineer to lead global part qualification and tooling transfers for high-volume production.

You will own end-to-end NPI processes and ensure design transfer to both domestic and international suppliers, reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Qualifications

• 8+ years in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or product launch roles in a high-precision, high-volume environment.
• Experience managing large-scale injection molding tooling programs.
• Ultrasonic welding experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent in PPAP/FAI, GD&T, and supplier qualification processes.
• Strong cross-functional project management skills; able to hold global suppliers to schedule and quality commitments.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).

Responsibilities

• Own the global part qualification process end-to-end, driving cycle time and removing bottlenecks.
• Lead implementation of new injection molding tool sets from kick-off through production release.
• Manage new design transfers to domestic and international offices, ensuring process requirements are validated before handoff.
• Partner with product development and operations to execute smooth NPI handoffs from DFM through first article.
• Define and deploy global standards of work for NPI, building repeatable playbooks across all supplier sites.
