INTERCONNECT SOLUTIONS COMPANY LLC is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer in Fountain Valley, CA. You will lead new product introductions, review customer drawings, BOMs, and tooling to ensure manufacturability and readiness for production.

The role emphasizes Design for Manufacturability, prototype builds, and early production support, partnering with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to deliver flawless launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Eng or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Manufacturing/NPI engineering or related roles.
• Ability to read complex drawings, specs, BOMs and customer requirements.
• Experience with DFM/DFA and process validation techniques.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI manufacturing from order release to production readiness.
• Analyze drawings/specs/BOMs to define manufacturability and DFMA opportunities.
• Lead Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and address tooling, materials and process risks.
• Develop prototype builds, pilot runs, and process development activities.
• Troubleshoot build issues, perform root cause analysis, drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quality for FAI and AS9102 documentation when applicable.
• Support production during prototypes and early production to close gaps.
• Create and maintain routers, BOMs, work instructions, and process specs.
• Identify tooling, fixtures, and automation needs for safe, efficient production.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
