Job summary
Crusoe is building an engineered storage network dedicated to AI workloads, delivering low-latency, lossless performance from spine to leaf. As Staff Network Engineer, you will own the end-to-end network fabric and serve as the technical authority for scalable infrastructure.
You’ll collaborate with SDN and Network Edge teams to translate storage requirements into network architecture, driving automation and reliability across Crusoe’s data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Real, battle-tested L2/L3 networking experience under production pressure.
- Ability to trace packets through the switch pipeline and diagnose root causes quickly.
- Deep understanding of OSI layers and NIC drivers to diagnose issues end to end.
- Capability to build automation and tooling to run the network at scale.
Responsibilities
- Architect and operate the storage network end to end - spine to leaf.
- Trace packets and diagnose fabric issues under production pressure.
- Dig into the OS network stack and NIC drivers when needed.
- Create automation and monitoring to run the network at scale.
