Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Staff Network Deployment Engineer to own how we deploy network infrastructure across our global fleet. You will define deployment strategy, set standards, and architect the automation platform that brings data centers and edge sites online at hyperscale pace.

This senior role partners with Network Architecture, mentors staff engineers, and represents deployment in cross-functional planning with Supply Chain and Data Center Ops.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale data centers or ISP/cloud environments.
• Proven track record of authoring standards and leading multi-quarter initiatives.
• Strong Python and Ansible experience for deployment automation.
• Experience with hyperscale operations and multi-region fabric deployments.
• Deep expertise in structured cabling, optical transceivers, and data center power/cooling.
• Fluent in routing protocols (BGP) and EVPN-VXLAN for large fabrics.
• Ability to lead deployment programs across time zones with executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own global deployment strategy for data centers, edge sites, and backbone interconnects.
• Define standards and RFCs for physical/logical network deployment.
• Architect and drive the deployment automation platform and CI/CD tooling.
• Lead design reviews, incident post-mortems, and drive systemic improvements.
• Mentor Staff/Senior engineers and align with Supply Chain and Ops.
• Collaborate with Network Architecture to ensure deployable designs.
