Epia Neuro is seeking a Staff Mobile Software Engineer to lead the Android applications used by patients and clinicians. You will own the app architecture, partnering with UX, clinical teams, and researchers to deliver reliable, accessible software for a regulated medical device.

You will work onsite in Alameda, CA 2–3 days per week, guiding technical direction, and ensuring safety, testing, and compliant documentation in a regulated environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience shipping mobile apps.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or React Native for production Android apps.
• Proven ability to translate UX designs into high-quality interfaces.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs, cloud services, or devices.
• Experience in regulated, safety-critical, or quality-managed development processes.
• Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration abilities.
