Job summary

PatientPoint is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Device Products & Operations to oversee Android-based device software across field operations tools, exam-room tech, waiting-room displays, and back-office systems. You will manage a mix of senior leads and ICs, hire and develop talent, and contribute technically where it matters.

You'll champion AI-assisted development, drive architecture decisions for device fleets, and collaborate with Product and Design to execute on multiple product

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years leading engineers or engineering teams
• Hands-on recently with production code or architecture plans
• Experience with native Android development using Kotlin

Responsibilities

• Own engineering outcomes across device product areas (field operations tooling, exam-room technology, waiting-room displays, back-office systems)
• Lead mix of senior Engineers Leads and ICs, owning hiring, performance and career growth
• Stay close to code: lead reviews, contribute where needed, set technical direction
• Champion AI-assisted engineering practices across teams
• Coordinate priorities across multiple product areas with different tech stacks
• Contribute to cross-org architecture discussions with a device-fleet perspective
• Grow engineers and Leads in their roles
• Partner with Product and Design leads on execution
• Manage blended teams (full-time and contract; onshore/offshore)
• Escalate resourcing needs to engineering leadership
