Job summary

Epia Neuro in Alameda, CA seeks a senior electrical hardware engineer to own and evolve electrical architecture and hardware across implantable and external systems, including circuit and PCBA development, embedded bring-up, integration, and debugging.

You will lead verification, reliability, and manufacturability improvements as research prototypes move toward production‑intent Class III medical devices, coordinating technical decisions and documentation across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 8 years of hands-on electrical hardware development, or 6 years with a master's or PhD.
• Experience owning complex product electrical architecture through verification and production handoff.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve electrical architecture and hardware across implantable and external systems, including circuit and PCBA development, embedded bring-up, integration, and debugging.
• Lead verification, reliability, and manufacturability improvements as prototypes transition into production-intent Class III medical devices, coordinating decisions and documentation across teams.
