Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical and plumbing systems for large-scale, mission-critical data center campuses. You will establish standards and design frameworks enabling scalable, efficient project delivery across a growing portfolio.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, consultants, and operations stakeholders, you will drive technical excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement through the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 6–10 years of mechanical engineering design and project delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems in complex facilities.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and setting engineering standards.
• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and BIM-enabled design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/development of mechanical and plumbing systems for large data centers.
• Review equipment submittals and ensure alignment with standards.
• Develop SOOs with controls/automation teams and standardize processes.
• Drive cost efficiency, reliability, and lifecycle performance across projects.
