Job summary

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer for Data Centers to own the design responsibility on assigned projects and serve as the main contact for the project manager, workshops, vendors, and the client.

The role demands strong engineering fundamentals, excellent project management, and a passion for innovation in data center infrastructure. You'll lead design across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and life-safety systems, coordinate RFQs, review vendor

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
5+ years of experience in design and project engineering.
Experience with design and drafting in manufacturing for data centers.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or Revit is preferred.
Experience with heat load calculation and lighting simulation is a plus.
PE license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design mechanical, electrical, HVAC, BMS, ELV, Life Safety and Security systems for data centers.
Prepare and issue RFQs/Requisitions in a timely manner.
Submit drawings/documentation per contract specifications.
Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation.
Review non-conformance reports from manufacturing facilities.
Develop installation and operations manuals tailored to each project.
