Job summary

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, applying AMSE/ANSI standards to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient solutions.

Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET) and 8+ years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS. EIT is expected; PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) license; Professional Engineer license is a plus.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical components and systems for nuclear plants or advanced reactor projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Review engineering modification packages and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Diagnose equipment failures, support root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure structural integrity and performance through calculations and analyses.
• Review vendor documentation and technical specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
