Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Commissioning Engineer to own the commissioning lifecycle for data center projects, from factory witness testing to turnover. You will serve as the on-site mechanical SME, coordinating across construction, engineering, controls, and operations to ensure design intent and Owner Project Requirements are met.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong vendor management, and the ability to manage third-party agents.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center commissioning, construction, or critical infrastructure delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; CxA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site mechanical SME for commissioning across projects.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and O&M docs for design intent.
• Oversee third-party commissioning agents and vendor testing.
• Coordinate factory witness testing and startup validation.
• Ensure commissioning docs (Cx Plan, test scripts, turnover) are complete.
