Job summary

Crusoe is recruiting a Senior Staff Quality Control (QC) Engineer to lead quality across mission-critical data center construction. You will define and improve quality practices for MEP systems, commissioning readiness, and defect prevention, working with GCs, subcontractors, OEMs, AHJs, and inspectors.

The role requires deep field experience, the ability to translate field lessons into scalable standards, and mentorship of QC engineers. On-site work with travel to other Crusoe sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or related technical construction roles.
• Deep technical understanding of MEP systems in large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience with electrical distribution, mechanical/cooling systems, controls, and handoff to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Define, standardize, and improve quality engineering practices across major construction scopes.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring defects and preventable quality issues.
• Develop and govern ITPs, inspection plans, and turnover documentation across civil, structural, electrical, mechanical scopes.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, field changes from a quality/constructability perspective.
• Mentor QC Engineers and construction teams on technical quality standards.
