Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Staff Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning across multiple data center campuses. You will own the mechanical discipline direction, govern the commissioning program, and advise on high-impact technical decisions that shape site outcomes.

You will operate as a Master of Discipline, escalating complex issues, and driving vendor and partner performance with robust governance. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data center commissioning, construction, or critical infrastructure delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; CxA certification is a plus.
• Mastery of the full commissioning lifecycle (L0–L6).
• Strong executive communication skills for senior leadership presentations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level commissioning oversight across multiple campuses and ensure alignment with portfolio strategy.
• Drive consistency in commissioning execution and translate lessons into program-wide improvements.
• Own technical sign-offs and maintain client communication to build confidence in Crusoe's delivery.
• Maintain understanding of mechanical systems and their impact on data center reliability.
• Develop and govern commissioning programs, standards, and governance documents.
