Northrop Grumman – Cincinnati (aka Xetron) is seeking a cleared Staff Systems Engineer for a leadership role in RF Communications projects. You will drive MBSE practices, model requirements, and coordinate across IPTs to deliver complex defense systems.

Excellent collaboration and customer liaison skills are essential. The role involves leading diverse teams, providing guidance on architecture changes, and ensuring traceability from requirements to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or STEM field with progression requirements.
• Experience applying MBSE to develop and model requirements.
• Experience managing requirements or systems engineering artifacts with DOORS, Cameo, or JIRA.
• Ability to lead engineering teams across disciplines in a recent project.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical decisions and guidance to enable timely, high-quality product deliveries and test events.
• Collaborate with other program systems engineers to meet program requirements and objectives.
• Propose and design systems architecture changes with traceability to requirements.
• Provide implementation guidance across technical teams.
• Develop and document standard engineering processes and procedures.
• Participate in engineering reviews of requirements, design and implementation plans.
