CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to act as both a Technical Lead and Individual Contributor. You will help build a next‑generation platform enabling use cases into products focused on healthier lives, creating PoCs, and driving delivery excellence across a team of engineers.

Qualifications

7+ years of enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment.
5+ years of Java and Spring Boot development experience.
5+ years with enterprise cloud initiatives and microservices.
3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation and Agile development.
2+ years of Agentic AI / Generative AI experience.

Responsibilities

Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions meeting business requirements and quality standards.
Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability to meet objectives.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring coding standards and quality guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to align work and mentor junior developers.
Drive adoption of best practices and new technologies to improve productivity and code quality.
