Job summary
CVS Health Specialty is seeking a Staff Software Engineer who will serve as both a technical lead and individual contributor to build our next-generation platform delivering use cases into products focused on helping people live healthier lives. This Staff Software Engineer, among other responsibilities, will create Proof of Concepts that will improve projects that will address our customer challenges.

Qualifications
- 7+ years in enterprise solution delivery in large-scale software.
- 5+ years Java and Springboot development.
- 5+ years cloud initiatives and cloud computing.
- 5+ years designing modern microservices and APIs.
- 3+ years CI/CD pipeline automation.
- 3+ years Agile development experience.
- 2+ years Agentic AI / Generative AI experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable solutions meeting requirements.
- Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions.
- Provide input on performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews adhering to standards.
- Coordinate with team members for alignment.
- Adopt best practices and new technologies.
- Share knowledge via code reviews, talks, workshops.
- Work with developers to implement features and improve code.
- Mentor junior developers.
