Job summary

EY is seeking a Staff Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise application delivery and ingress operations across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, certificates, routing, and edge security technologies. You will monitor, troubleshoot, onboarding, configuration changes, maintenance, and lifecycle activities while following established standards and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• 2+ years in networking, cloud ops, load balancing, app delivery, infrastructure support, or a related technical role.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and high-availability fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting production infra or app connectivity using documented processes.
• Ability to follow change controls, runbooks, escalation procedures, and documentation standards.
• Strong learning agility, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ingress and edge platform health, availability, alerts, capacity, and performance.
• Triage app connectivity, load balancing, DNS, certs, routing, and traffic delivery issues.
• Follow runbooks to collect evidence, validate health, and escalate complex issues.
• Participate in incident response, problem investigation, maintenance, and on-call support.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, technical notes, and operational records.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, migration, and release activities for apps, URLs, domains, APIs, and services.
• Coordinate with owners and dependent teams to resolve missing information or issues.
