Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Industrial Wastewater Engineer to join our Syracuse, NY team within the Industrial Water group. You will design, analyze, and implement industrial wastewater treatment solutions for clients across North America, advancing from concept through commissioning and startup.

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering innovative, sustainable treatment systems. Travel up to 25% may be required to support client sites and projects while developing technical and project leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment engineering.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Support design, calculations, and implementation of industrial wastewater treatment projects from concept through startup.
Prepare engineering calculations, process analyses, reports, and design documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and subject matter experts to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Support client engagements, site investigations, pilot studies, equipment selection, construction support, and startup activities.
Maintain Arcadis quality, safety, and technical standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
