Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a Staff Industrial Wastewater Engineer to join our Syracuse, NY team, tackling complex water challenges and delivering sustainable treatment solutions for North America. You will work with senior experts from concept through startup, contributing to diverse industrial projects and improving environmental performance.
The role requires a BE in engineering, 5 years of experience, and a preference for a NY PE license (or reciprocity within six months).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment engineering.
- New York PE license or reciprocity within six months preferred.
- Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement industrial wastewater treatment projects from concept to startup.
- Prepare calculations, process analyses, and design documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Support client engagements, site investigations, pilot studies, equipment selection, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with Arcadis standards and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
