Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Industrial Wastewater Engineer in Syracuse, NY to join our growing Industrial Wastewater Treatment team. You will design and implement complex industrial wastewater treatment systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers to deliver sustainable solutions across North America.

Travel up to 25% may be required. The role emphasizes technical leadership, client guidance, and adherence to safety and quality standards as part of Arcadis'

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7 years of industrial wastewater treatment engineering experience.
• Master’s degree and PE license in NY preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analyses, calculations, and design for wastewater projects.
• Develop and implement treatment solutions using various technologies.
• Manage tasks, deliverables, schedule, and budget with safety in mind.
• Prepare scopes, reports, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Build client relationships through technical guidance and value-driven outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold Arcadis' standards.
