Job summary

Arcadis in Syracuse, NY seeks a Staff Industrial Wastewater Engineer to join our Industrial Water team. You will design, evaluate, and implement wastewater treatment solutions for North American clients, from concept through startup, working with multidisciplinary experts to deliver sustainable and efficient outcomes.

You will perform calculations, prepare technical reports, and support project delivery while upholding Arcadis quality and safety standards. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment engineering.
• PE license in New York preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and startup of wastewater treatment projects.
• Develop calculations, reports, and system specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Support client engagements, site investigations, pilot studies, and commissioning.
• Uphold Arcadis quality, safety, and standards while pursuing improvements.
