ShipBob is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations to shape future supply chain flows within our facilities. You will develop product flows for merchant experience and efficiency, operate with autonomy, and drive continuous improvement across the warehouse network.

You will lead lean initiatives, guide multiple process improvement teams on the floor, and develop CAD drawings and SOPs to eliminate waste. 50% travel is required, with a focus on safety and performance.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience launching process automation to optimize efficiency.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and lean/continuous improvement knowledge.
• Experienced in project management.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and procedures.
• Basic 2D/3D CAD software skills.
• Up to 50% travel required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate current supply chain practices and identify those needing improvement.
• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve the efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
• Evaluate employees’ tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.
• Investigate, evaluate, develop project estimates, financial proposals, and manage a variety of operational projects.
• Facilitate and manage corrective and preventative action teams from customer complaints and quality problems.
• Provide technical support to operations on the floor and across process improvement teams.
• Develop CAD drawings, process flow charts, cost saving analyses.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
• Deliver variation reductions using Process Control methodology.
• Define and document Standard Operating Procedures for new/modified processes.
• Identify and remove barriers to project goals.
• Manage data collection and analysis for project tracking.
• Establish and track key operational metrics.
• Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety practices.
