Job summary

ShipBob is hiring a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations focused on optimizing product flows and warehouse processes across our network. The role emphasizes autonomy, lean methods, and continuous improvement to deliver a best-in-class merchant experience and high efficiency.

Travel up to 50% is required. You will develop new programs, provide floor-level guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove waste and drive measurable outcomes in our fast-paced

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Industrial Engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience launching process automation to optimize efficiency.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current supply chain practices and identify improvements.
• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
• Evaluate tasks and responsibilities to improve productivity.
• Develop project estimates, financial proposals, and manage projects.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions from quality issues and CI initiatives.
• Provide on-the-floor technical support and guide process-improvement teams.
• Develop CAD drawings, process flow charts, and cost-saving analyses.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
• Deliver variation reductions using Process Control methodology.
• Define and document SOPs for new or modified processes.
• Track project goals and establish operational metrics.
• Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety policies and regulations.
