ShipBob, Inc. is hiring a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations to shape future facility flows and optimize merchant experience. You will develop product flows, drive lean improvements, and lead cross-functional teams across warehouses with autonomy.

Expect to train staff, implement process changes, and build CAD/process controls to reduce waste. You will collaborate with teams, manage projects, and contribute to safety and environmental compliance while traveling up to 50% across

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt with knowledge of continuous improvement.
• Experience launching process automation to optimize efficiency.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Project management experience in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current supply chain practices and identify improvements.
• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
• Assess tasks and tools to boost productivity.
• Lead project estimates, financial proposals, and project tracking.
• Lead corrective and preventive action teams from quality issues and CI initiatives.
• Provide floor-level technical support and guide process-improvement teams.
• Develop CAD drawings and process flow charts for cost savings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
• Document SOPs for new/modified processes.
• Identify barriers to achieving project goals and remove them.
• Collect and analyze process data for project tracking.
• Establish and monitor key operational metrics.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety policies.
• Additional duties as necessary.
