ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations for our remote US roles with travel up to 50%. The role focuses on designing and improving product flows to boost merchant experience and efficiency across warehouse networks.

You will lead process improvements, develop cost-saving analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SOPs and new equipment plans. A Six Sigma Black Belt and strong communication skills are required.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience launching process automation to optimize efficiency.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and knowledge of lean and continuous improvement preferred.
• Up to 50% travel required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate current supply chain practices and identify improvements.
• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve the efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
• Evaluate employees’ tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.
• Investigate, evaluate, develop project estimates, and manage operational projects.
• Facilitate and manage corrective and preventive action teams from complaints and CI initiatives.
• Provide technical floor support and guide process improvement teams.
• Develop CAD drawings, process flow charts, and cost saving analyses.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
• Deliver variation reductions using Process Control methodology.
• Define and document Standard Operating Procedures for new or modified processes.
• Identify and remove barriers to project goals.
• Manage process data collection and project tracking.
