Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking a Staff Software Security Engineer to lead identity and access management platforms, enabling secure and scalable access across the organization. This hybrid role is based in Mountain View and collaborates with Security, Infrastructure, Product, and Engineering to advance enterprise identity capabilities.

You will design, implement, and govern identity architectures, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance while maintaining a great user experience.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.
5+ years in Identity & Access Management, AD, lifecycle management, RBAC, SSO.
5+ years in application security, authentication, cryptography, supply chain/mobile security.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, and evolution of enterprise IAM platforms and services.
Engineer and deliver new identity capabilities to improve security and user experience.
Drive modernization by re-architecting legacy identity systems to cloud-ready platforms.
Design solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability of identity infrastructure.
Define and execute long-term strategy and roadmap for identity platforms.
