Job summary

Recursion, a clinical-stage TechBio company, seeks an experienced IAM leader to revamp our IAM strategy across product platforms, cloud and on-premise environments. You will drive zero-trust initiatives and architect cloud-based identity governance, RBAC/ABAC workflows, and integration with AD and cloud IAM tools.

You will collaborate with IT, security, and development teams, establish security metrics, and ensure SOX/GxP compliance, while guiding cross-functional stakeholders and advancing IAM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IAM and information security experience.
• Proven track record leading large-scale IAM projects in cloud-first and hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, C++, Python) as they relate to IAM products.
• Experience with Enterprise Identity Administration & Governance solutions.
• Experience with OAuth, OpenID, SAML, etc.
• Experience with IAM in cloud (Okta, AWS, Azure AD, Duo).
• Experience with privileged access management solutions (Delinea, CyberArk).
• Knowledge of OS and database management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Business systems analysis and requirements elicitation.
• Continuous improvement mindset and IAM trends.
• Experience with risk management and compliance.
• Security certifications (CISSP, OSCP, GWAPT) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess IAM state and revamp strategy across products, platforms, cloud/on-premise infrastructure and applications.
• Drive IAM implementation as part of zero-trust security strategy.
• Architect and design cloud-based identity governance, access management and cloud directory solutions.
• Implement RBAC/ABAC IAM workflows for onboarding and lifecycle management.
• Advise cross-functional teams IT, security, and development to integrate IAM into security architecture.
• Partner with Engineering and IT to ensure proper access privileges.
• Establish KPIs, KCIs, KRIs for IAM visibility and continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance meeting SOX, GxP standards.
