Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff (I&C) engineer to lead campus-level Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems across a multi-building site. You will guide design, standards, and client discussions while mentoring engineers and technicians to keep critical systems running at peak performance.

You will oversee mechanical and electrical control domains, drive project scopes, quotes, and ensure alignment with Crusoe’s operational goals across global projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls in data centers or large-scale industrial facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA (Perspective).

Responsibilities

• Lead tenant program controls architecture and execution across buildings.
• Draft, develop, and maintain enterprise control standards including PLC code and SCADA primitives.
• Review design deliverables for adherence to architectures and standards.
• Provide expert technical support to tangential departments and ensure lifecycle management of control systems.
• Evaluate tenant requirements against Crusoe standards to drive technical consensus.
• Drive impact evaluations when deviations are required and communicate risks clearly.
• Weigh pros/cons of control system capabilities to optimize resiliency and performance.
• Serve as primary technical contact for client discussions and maintain strong relationships.
• Mentor Technicians and Engineers through structured on-the-job training.
