Job summary

Crusoe is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer II to help build the control system inside Crusoe's modular data center platform in Denver. You will work with senior I&C engineers to develop point lists, instrument schedules, and control drawings, then verify them on the factory floor through FAT before modules ship.

This hands-on role blends design and factory work, with mentorship, clear ownership, and travel around 25% to partners and deployment sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and controls.
• Familiar with design and FAT processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop point lists, instrument schedules, I/O assignments, and control system drawings for modular data center systems under senior guidance.
• Execute FAT protocols on control panels and modules, including verification and calibration before shipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve panel build issues during production.
• Contribute to repeatable design packages and test procedures for scalable platforms.
• Coordinate with panel fabricators and system integrators on submittals and specs.
• Perform field walks, inspections, and basic calibration verification at sites.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and instrument documentation for downstream teams.
