Job summary

Crusoe is building the world's first AI-first cloud infrastructure with a focus on energy optimization and reliable plant operation. We seek a Senior Staff Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead end-to-end I&C vendor oversight for complex power generation programs, from design to commissioning and initial operations.

You will own the project lifecycle for control systems, ensure safety compliance, and mentor junior engineers, while collaborating with EPCs and vendors to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; PE license desired but not required.
• 20+ years in control systems, electrical power management, or related field.
• Experience with power plant DCS/PLC systems and safety standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration and data-driven problem solving.
• Familiarity with ISA standards and vendor oversight

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level expertise for complex control system design and operation.
• Oversee vendor oversight and system integration with plant systems.
• Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup operations.
• Train operations staff and develop documentation.
• Maintain ISA standards and ensure safety compliance.
• Review vendor deliverables and resolve design conflicts.
• Lead cross-vendor coordination and testing.
