Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, Deployment, to lead field deployment of BMS/EPMS systems in hyperscale data centers. You will install, integrate, and commission automation solutions across HVAC, electrical, and monitoring infrastructure, ensuring scalable, resilient operations.

You will drive standardization, coordinate with contractors and OEM partners, and train teams to maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience deploying, integrating, and starting PLC, SCADA, BMS, EPMS platforms.
• Experience in data center or high-availability environments.
• Familiar with BACnet, Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT protocols.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems.
• On-site field leadership translating design to installation.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead field deployment, integration, and startup of BMS/EPMS systems.
• Configure SCADA dashboards, HMIs, and operator workstations.
• Ensure standards and deployment patterns across projects.
• Oversee contractors and ensure commissioning is thorough.
• Collaborate with engineers and OEM partners for integration.
• Validate functionality via FAT/SAT and site handover.
• Mentor junior controls engineers on operation and troubleshooting.
