Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah is seeking a Staff Human Factors Engineer to lead HF/UX efforts for GBSD SW UI within the Specialty Engineering Human Systems Integration team.

Responsibilities include translating user research into intuitive interfaces, collaborating across IPTs, and ensuring MIL-STD-1472G compliance. A US citizenship with active Secret clearance is required, with relocation assistance potentially available.

Qualifications

US citizenship with active Secret clearance at time of application.
Experience in HF engineering and UI/UX design for software UIs.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to teams and leadership.
Knowledge of Mil-Std-1472G and ANSI/HFES 100-2007 is a plus.
Experience in defense contracting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead HF/UX efforts for software UI within the HSI team.
Develop a design style guide for UI across teams.
Translate research data into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Ensure UI design supports MIL-STD-1472G compliance.
Collaborate with IPTs and stakeholders across the program.
