Northrop Grumman is hiring a Staff Human Factors Engineer to lead UX/UI efforts for GBSD software interfaces in the Roy, Utah location. You will guide HF work across design, analysis, and test, collaborating with IPTs and user communities to deliver intuitive operator experiences.

Qualifications include a strong HF/UX background, MBSE experience, and the ability to obtain SAP and US Secret clearance. The role supports a Sentinel program with comprehensive benefits and a 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications

• Educational background in psychology or engineering with system design focus.
• Experience applying UI/UX design in high-stakes environments.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance and SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Lead HF/UX for software UI development within the HSI team.
• Develop a UI design style guide with SW teams.
• Ensure MIL-STD-1472G compliance in UI work.
• Conduct predictive and empirical workload analyses and usability tests.
• Translate user research into flows, wireframes and prototypes.
