Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Staff Engineer, Hardware Test and Validation to provide senior technical leadership for validating and characterizing complex hardware platforms. The role combines hands-on measurement, system-level architecture, and mentorship across programs.

The ideal candidate will lead validation strategies, oversee SI/PI, and influence product design while partnering with customers and suppliers to ensure robust, scalable validation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive hardware design/validation experience.
• Strong leadership on complex hardware programs.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed digital design and SI/PI.
• Hands-on with PCIe and Ethernet validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python for test automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware validation across programs and establish standards.
• Direct SI/PI testing for high-speed interconnects and channels.
• Drive root-cause investigations and cross-functional resolutions.
• Develop scalable Python-based test automation frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and influence product validation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with vendors/partners on validation strategies.
