Job summary

Aurora Innovation Inc. in Mountain View seeks a Staff Technical Program Manager - Hardware NPI Test to lead planning, coordination, and execution for hardware NPI test programs, partnering with design, manufacturing, and supply chain.

You will drive readiness for manufacturing test, manage change processes, track test yield and data, and report risk with mitigation plans. A track record of 7+ years in hardware programs and Arena PLM is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience developing safety critical hardware; bonus for robotics/automotive/aerospace sectors.
• Experience launching new hardware products and managing lifecycles.
• Strong manufacturing and end-of-line test process knowledge.
• PLM experience with Arena required.
• Proficiency with project tools (Smartsheets, MS Project) and task tools (Jira, Confluence).
• 7+ years of leading complex hardware programs and manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to Asia move to high-volume manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in AV/robotics and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution for hardware NPI test programs.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, NPI test engineering, and supply chain.
• Drive readiness for manufacturing test and escalate issues with CM.
• Represent activities at cross-functional meetings with technical leads.
• Schedule discussions to unblock engineering for test readiness.
• Track yield, test data, and Pareto analyses for stakeholders.
• Provide status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Run Change Control Board for hardware test from B sample onward.
