Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in physical design or 4+ years with a Master’s degree or 2+ years with a Ph.D.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with physical design implementation flows (synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, signoff)
• Proficiency with Synopsys or Cadence toolsets (ICC2/Fusion Compiler, Innovus, PrimeTime/Tempus, StarRC)
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, TCL, Shell, or Perl
• Familiarity with low-power implementation considerations, physical verification tools (Calibre/ICV)
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with data-driven problem solving
• Excellent collaboration and communication in a fast-paced, global environment

Responsibilities

• Support physical implementation and methodology execution of high-performance GPU IP.
• Contribute to power, performance, and area (PPA) goals across nodes.
• Execute flows from synthesis to signoff with floorplanning, placement, and routing.
• Assist timing, power, and signoff activities with STA-driven optimization.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve design productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
