Job summary

Samsung Austin Research and Development Center (SARC) is seeking a Senior Staff GPU Physical Design Engineer to drive full-chip and block-level implementation, from synthesis through signoff, for high-performance GPU IP.

You will partner with architecture, RTL, and foundry teams, mentor engineers, and push innovative flows, automation, and DTCO-aware design to deliver optimal PPA on advanced nodes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in full physical design for GPU/SoC.
• Expert in low-power design and physical verification.
• Strong background in STA, timing convergence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical design activities from synthesis to signoff.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL, and foundry teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive process improvements.
